Oil paint was applied wit a palette knife, layer upon layer, creating a highly textured and almost 3D effect. I was inspired by the architecture in Amsterdam.
I was inspired by the blossoms and trees in Amsterdam in the spring. The impressionists also influenced me to paint in a looser style and I used a rounder paletter knife for the paint application.

Various mediums, such as paint, photography, glass and sequins have been used, mostly on wooden panels, but also canvas, creating a 3D-like effect and lots of texture.
