I was pregnant at the time and the colours are soft and gentle, reflecting my mood. I wasn't sure if I was having a boy or a girl, so there are touches of blue and pink. The curves symbolize the female body as I was very much in touch with the roundness and fullness of my changing body at the time. It was a very happy time and the painting came together quickly.
